“Does Midorima’s accuracy in shooting in half-court possible in real-life?”

Shintarō Midorima was the vice-captain and shooting guard of the Generation of Miracles. He now plays for one of the Three Kings of Tokyo, Shūtoku High.

High Projectile Three

Midorima is mostly known for his incredible shot. Midorima always shoots with his left hand and he bandages his fingers in order to not let them affect his shot. If Midorima is not sure he will score, then he will not shoot. He mostly shoots off the catch, and he is able to create space for his shot. He can shoot the ball from anywhere outside the three point line and the ball flies with exceptionally high arc.

“LIMITLESS RANGE”

Another thing that is incredible about his shot is the distance. Midorima has shown that he can score from the half court line and even on the opposite side of the court. He has trained this for at least four years. It is an incredible feat because in reality, most full-court shooters do it with a gridiron-like throwing motion, while he does it with a normal jump shot, a great testament to his overall strength and endurance because it is so repeatable for him. Also, because the shooting percentages are so low that it is normally used at the end of the quarter or at the end of the game as a buzzer-beater. Since Midorima can shoot from the other side of the court, this stops the opposing team from starting a fast break because he is already on defense.

THE ANSWER IS YES!!!!! IT IS POSSIBLE IN REAL-LIFE!!!!!

It is possible because of MUSCLE MEMORY.

Muscle memory has been used synonymously with motor learning, which is a form of procedural memory that involves consolidating a specific motor task into memory through repetition. When a movement is repeated over time, a long-term muscle memory is created for that task, eventually allowing it to be performed without conscious effort. This process decreases the need for attention and creates maximum efficiency within the motor and memory systems. Examples of muscle memory are found in many everyday activities that become automatic and improve with practice, such as riding a bicycle, typing on a keyboard, typing in a PIN, playing a musical instrument, martial arts or even dancing.

The only one player who can do the half-court shot easily like Midorima does is STEPHEN CURRY of Golden State Warriors

Wardell Stephen Curry II (born March 14, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Many players and analysts have called him the greatest shooter in NBA history. In 2014–15, Curry won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award and led the Warriors to their first championship since 1975. The following season, he became the first player in NBA history to be elected MVP by a unanimous vote and to lead the league in scoring while shooting above 50–40–90. That same year, the Warriors broke the record for the most wins in an NBA season.
During the 2012–13 season, Curry set the NBA record for three-pointers made in a regular season with 272. He surpassed that record in 2015 with 286, and again in 2016 with 402. Some reporters saw Stephen Curry practice shooting at half-court many times and it is the reason why he can do half-court shot easily.
